Tends to be a place for legal staff at lunchtime as it is in ,The Land of Green Ginger, an area of solicitors.
This is a street name, relating a drink of ginger cured with lemon juice and legend has it Henry VIII visited and demanded ginger. It was brought in on a ship.
This is a coaching inn and boasts the smallest window in the world where the boy sat waiting for coaches ready to give the cry.

Great atmosphere, and excellent food at good prices. Can be extremely busy over lunchtime so get there early

The George Hotel is a pub situated in the Old Town area of the Hull City Centre, situated across from the Courts Bar.
This pub is called the George Hotel, but I have only used it as a public house, never as a Hotel.
As a pub, this seems very small. There is one main room, and this gets very busy during the evening- to the point of being uncomfortable at times. However, the atmisphere always seems friendly- there is never any evidence of fighting here.
The drinks are priced at an average price for the area, but you may need to buy more than one at a time, as it is quite a struggle to get to the bar.
